Busy Poppa

One of the first things Poppa did..........

....... go to Lowes and buy this box.  What is it?  Well, I was complaining because every time I used the kitchen taps there was water running around the edge of the sink.  So....

........ he took out the taps to check things out.  After some scrutiny, he discovered the problem....

........... on the side of the spout ..........

...... there was an area that had corroded right through the metal..........

..... so he got to work and under Squeegie's close supervision...........

............ positioned a brand new set of taps (identical to those he had removed) in the correct spot...........

........... crawled under the sink to hook it all up.........

........... and, of course, tested it to check for leaks and water flow and whatever else he needed to check for.  Now, here's the best part!  He took the old taps to put in the box for disposal, and while doing so..........

..... discovered the directions - so he stopped to read them!  What a hoot!  Naturally, while he was busy working........

........ I was busy knitting the last pair of "special order" socks.  These are for Uncle Ernie - Poppa picked the colours - I hope Uncle Ernie likes them!  More project information to follow!
