Okay - we've been kinda busy and it's time to catch up! The first couple of weeks we were here...
....... Poppa was busy helping Denis with some chores at their place. They were doing all kinds of things, but Liz and myself were busy doing more fun things! In the pool area at Liz and Denis's villa in Florida there is a delightful little space for decorative plants and anything else a person might like to put there. Liz had a collection of garden ornaments - some really cute ones - which had slowly lost their colour over the years. She asked if I would help her restore them and of course, I said I would! There was...
.... quite a collection of them - this is just a few! These are all in progress...and I'll show you a few of the finished ones....
... Liz put feathers on the little Duck. I worked on....

....... the boys were still working on their mysterious projects. We often took a dip in the pool, followed by....
............ some wonderful, tasty meals prepared by the lady of the house! Soon it was time....
...... to help Liz pack up some things to put in the owners' closet. She took a few minutes....
..... to talk to her little granddaughter, Audrey, on the phone. She sent me a picture but it won't download onto my computer - so I can't share it. Suffice it to say, she is cute as a button, and shortly after this phone call she took her first steps! Anyway, the garden ornaments weren't done yet and they had to return to Canada, so....
.... I brought some of the paint home with me to finish the rest. I also got some knitting done - surprise! I started with these socks.....
........ which were a special order from Aunt Jeannie for her friend Joe. I hope they both like them!
