Next Day

We were now at Kevin's second-to-last day of his vacation.  We set out with a plan.....

......... to visit Downtown Disney and have a ride on the big air balloon - but it was grounded due to high winds.... so we strolled through the streets and enjoyed the sights.

Mickey & Minnie were everywhere!  Here they are overhead, and.....

.... here they were at ground level, we found them..........

... in the flower beds (look at the huge flowers!  Poppa was trying to figure out how to duplicate them for his flower beds at home.).... and we found them....

... in this charming portrait, on the wall of the Disney Christmas store.  I should have taken a picture of the ornaments available there - they were all Disney themed and range from cute to beautiful.  Next time I'm there I'll get some pics for you!  It was a hot day, and we walked a lot.  On the way out, we spotted this....

.......... lady - who appears to be a statue, but she waved at the children and changed her pose periodically.  Her ability to stand perfectly still for minutes at a time was amazing - and I'm sure that underneath that costume and makeup she must have been very warm!  When we approached the car....

............ there was already someone waiting for us to move our car out, so that they could get our parking spot!  So we jumped into the car and headed home.  By the time we got home it was supper time, so we headed to one of our favourite places....

......... where we all ate too much and then made out way home to bed.
