When we arrived at the new house....
.......... David and Allison were still there - we took them out for dinner......
..... to an English-style fish and chip shop which we had visited with them last year. It was so nice to see them and have a chat to catch up on all the news since last year! And... the fish and chips were excellent, though Allison had steak-and-ale pie! We also had a lovely Christmas dinner with them, prepared by Allison and quite yummy! We also had the opportunity to meet....
......... David's sister Allison! She was visiting from Wales....
..... with her family... two sons and her husband who were all busy with electronic devices - including Robert who is hidden by Tony. They are such fun people and kept us all laughing - we thoroughly enjoyed their company. They were staying at the villa we used to stay in and were busy visiting all the theme parks. I think they actually tired out those two teenage boys! It seemed too soon.........
... when it was time for all of them to return across the Atlantic to their homes for Christmas............but David and Allison left the Christmas tree up for us to enjoy until after Christmas - which we did! And...........
.... Poppa cleaned up the nuts they had left!
