Still More!!!

Something that is actually new!  On February 6th, 2021, Oliver was happy to welcome a new tiny person to his family in the UK.  This is Oliver taking care of his new little sister - Lilly!  Our friends in England are now the proud grandparents of two little people.  Congratulations to all!
I actually made this little outfit with Lilly in mind - but with the global pandemic happening, I decided I would not send anything right away - imagine how often the parcels are handled between Canada and the UK, before arriving at their destination.  So I will make something later, when perhaps we can visit Florida again (fingers crossed!) and drop it off there for her.  Thus, this outfit is headed for the gift shop at the hospital.
As is this one - also created with little Lilly in mind - but I won't forget about her.
And - one more - I thought I would choose the one I liked best to send - but now I will just have to knit something more for when she is a little bit bigger!
Here is our basement floor about half done.  It was a big chore for Poppa - all the furniture had to be moved....
........ and some planning had to be done to figure out where to put it all!
Here is Furbee and Happy busily planning another trip in their helicopter!
This is an old shot (obviously - no snow!) showing the fence line at the golf course where Poppa and one of his fellow golfers were working in the fall to clear some of the growth along the fence.
It was a difficult job in some places - but they persevered and got it done!  It looked a lot better ............ until it snowed!
Somebody (you know who you are!) sent me this and I just couldn't resist posting it for your enjoyment - after I finished laughing!

More Catchup!

Poppa took on another big project - he replaced the old carpet in the basement rec room with brand new laminated flooring!  I love it!  It is easier to clean and looks modern and up-to-date!

Here are Furbee and Happy discussing their plans for the day.  They like to pretend that the ceiling fan is a helicopter and make big plans for the day's trip.

A coral colored outfit in leaf and lace pattern.

A more unusual patterned hoodie in little boy colors.

This one is made with self-striping yarn and includes little feet.

More of the coral colored yarn in a different pattern.

Since winter is coming, I thought someone might like this outfit with leggings.

This is me showing off one of the masks that Granny Maureen made for me!  It has little grey bears all over it!  (I wonder how she knew I would like that one!)

Poppa did some work around our place this summer - including digging up some of the lawn and putting in new sod.

He also dug up the pipe that drains the water away from the roof and replaced it with new pipe on more of a downward angle to improve drainage.

Since Squishie went for a ride with Poppa, Taffy and Gracie kept an eye out for their return = but they chose to sit on the stairs instead of the bannister!

Poppa liked to give the little dog next door a couple of treats when she peeked around the corner.

While I was inside with my yarn bowl and a freshly started project.

Squishie was hungry when he got home.

And this is just a cute picture of Squishie and Taffy!
