Does anyone remember watching Sesame Street with the kids?
This is a photo I took of the building in the center of our complex. We see it when we look out the front windows. Take a careful look.....
One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things doesn't belong,
Can you guess which thing is not like the others,
By the time I finish this blog?
Squishie was bored and was taking a nap in Poppa's chair - which caused me to wonder where Poppa was!
After searching around the neighborhood, I found him working to repair the deck at the back of a unit belonging to one of our neighbors.
He was replacing some of the floor boards which were deteriorating.
And doing a fine job!
Then he started to inspect the handrail going down the stairs and discovered that there was also some serious issues there too!
So he chiseled out all the bad wood...
... which also consumed some time and energy!
When I got back to our unit, I noticed that the bears were watching some of the events happening in London, England to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 70th year as the head of state of the UK. It was enchanting and her grandchildren were adorable.
Speaking of grandchildren... here is another picture of Poppa's grand-niece. She is really adorable and beautiful too!
Okay! Here is a closer shot of that building in the center of our complex. Did any of you notice the difference between the balcony closest to the bottom on the right as opposed to all the other balconies? The owner of that unit asked Poppa one day if there was anything she could do to make it look better. Consequently he power-washed the interior and exterior of all the wood. Then following instructions from Poppa she treated it with a specific color and brand of wood preservative. Doesn't it look lovely in comparison to the others?!? (I think there is a plan in the works to get the others done too!)
What? No comment Trolley-Mouse?
ReplyDeleteWow! Wow! Wow! I noticed right away! Huge difference. I thought it was all new replacement parts. It looks great. I bet all the work in the neighbour's back yard ends up fabulous too.
ReplyDeleteThe Platinum Jubilee was interesting to watch. There is a lot of love for the Queen.
Yes, Poppa's grand-niece is absolutely adorable.
