Okay - where did I leave off??
Oh yes! Here is one of the things I promised. Remember Poppa working on his knees all around the flower bed? Well - here is what he did. He put that little edging all around it so that it would be more difficult for grass and weeds to creep in. Looks pretty nice, right?
The rest of his plants are flourishing as well. We've had so much rain this year and not a lot of sunshine - so they don't look quite as pretty as they did last year at this time.
As soon as that chore was done, he got back into the garage. Having fixed all the duct issues, he started cutting some fancy kind of rock insulation to put up there.
First he put the pink fiberglass insulation up. Then he put a layer of stiff foam insulation.
Then the layer of grey rock insulation went on at the last. He had to leave this section open to put the ducts in for the heat vents in the bedroom above. A lot of work for Poppa, but we can already notice a difference in the temperature of the bedroom - and also much less noise coming from the garage. Obviously, this is not my area of expertise! You can tell from the descriptions! But...
....... more in keeping with my projects, here is another Twiddle Muff, this is the outside, and.....
..... the inside is less elaborate since it is about the feeling, not the seeing. Another item of interest....
......... Aunt Peggy's stone has been put in place. We're quite pleased with it.
