Miscellaneous Stuff

I apologize for the long delay since my last post.  Poppa & I have been very busy!  As I mentioned previously.....

..... Aunt Peggy has decided to stay at the Atrium Retirement Residence.  Here she is............

........... sitting on her new bed.  We brought some of her own furniture to make her feel at home.  But,  she got a brand new box spring & mattress and bedding.  She also got............

........ a new flat screen TV which doesn't take so much space as the old one she had at her house.  The rest of the furniture.............

........ is from her house.  Then it was time to put her house on the market, so Poppa & I spent about a month going through everything and sorting and cleaning in preparation.  Finally, last Thursday..........

.......... the For Sale sign was placed on the front yard.  My cousin (and her nephew) Jimmy.......

......... came to help us move the heavy stuff on the last day of our work there.  And his sister Anne Marie stopped up for a day to help me go through all the clothes.  Thanks to both of them for their help!  Also....

......... a huge THANK YOU to Poppa who spent hours and hours there helping me with that rather immense task.  Aunt Peggy seems to be settling in nicely and doing well.  When I stopped in today....

........... she wanted to go for a stroll in the fresh air so we walked around the building........ it was quite a hike.........

........... and the wind was a little chilly, so when we met Poppa part way around, we went back inside.  There is quite a bit more news..........but this post is long enough for now.  Oh.........

.......... I've started a pullover for little Curtie.
