All Too Soon....

.......... we are thinking about our long journey back to Canada.  But first..........

Mommy sent me both of these pics - I think she hunts around for things to make me smile!  Thank you Mommy!  Meantime....

... I have started packing our stuff for storage until we come again next year!  We are both feeling sad to leave, a little anxious about the long trip home, and a little anxious to see our "new" condo, since we've almost forgotten what it looks like.  We weren't there very long - at least it doesn't seem like it - we've been here 3+ months and we were there 4+ months!  Anyway, Poppa is....

..... getting into cleaning mode.........

.... as usual - he took the vacuum cleaner all apart....it had a little bit of dusty stuff inside....

....... he cleaned all the parts carefully.........

....... then wiped them dry and left them to finish air-drying to ensure they were ready to put back together.  It may have gotten dusty when he..........

.........vacuumed this little mat before he started washing it.  He brought it home from our friend's house.  It was there to wipe your feet before you entered the house from the garage, and of course he thought it needed to be cleaned.  He vacuumed it, then washed it, then rinsed it with the hose, and.......

.... hung it up to dry, before laying it flat in the sun to fluff up and look pretty, before he took it back.  It came out looking brand-new!  Here is Taffy.........

......... in her other new birthday outfit.  She wanted you to see it from this angle so you could see the nice ruffles on the legs of the shorts, complimented by the ruffles on the blouse.  Then she wandered off....

...... to watch Jeopardy - one of her favourite TV shows.  She wants to get smart enough to be one of the competitors someday!  Before Liz left for Canada in January, she gave me a package to make Reese peanut butter/chocolate squares.

Oh my gosh - it was so good, Taffy and I ate some while we watched Jeopardy!  Don't worry, we did give Poppa and Squeegie some later.  I have finished.....

............ another pair of socks.  They are made from Opal yarn, which is a new yarn I've been trying out.  It is rather more expensive than some I use, but I really like it.  The reference number on these is S21-16.   What.............
