"Well, this isn't rocket science. He spray-painted the fence around the patio. It has gone from weathered wood to a fresher looking whitey kinda colour. Looks Good! I'm not sure if anything else was done also though."
Does anyone remember who got first choice in the sock yarn grab? Well, guess what, Auntie Muffy won again! Now I am waiting for an e-mail or another comment regarding what colour of yarn she would like. Then again, I believe she is coming for a visit later this week - maybe she would like to come to the store with me and/or check out my stash and pick a colour in real-life! We'll see.
Last evening after supper, Poppa and I went to find a change pad for the change table, and we found exactly what we needed!
It fits the table perfectly - but now Poppa thinks we should get a cover sheet for it (yes - you can actually get a fitted sheet to cover it), since it is plastic and he thinks that will not be very comfy for Curtis... so I guess that is next. Then, I think all we need is Curtis' arrival to complete the project! He's not due until the 22nd of August - so we may have a while to wait yet.
I've finished the Petite Open Point Lace piece at 24". So, I've started a new piece. The new piece is called Knitted Edging for Doily Material. It is very tiny, since I am getting nearer and nearer to the end of the spool of pink thread - but I still seem to have enough for this piece to reach the 24" length. It looks like this:
And, of course, I am still working on Munchie's blankie. I have three more rows of colour to knit and then put the edging on. It is getting nice and long - Poppa sat underneath it for perspective.
Cool huh?
Congraulations to the winner of the mitten award! Auntie Muffy! Hooray!
Awwww. The change table and the blanket are both adorable. And the lace... gorgeous.
