Such a Busy Time of Year

But, Mommy and I had a blast doing our shopping....

...of course, some things never change...Mommy arrived on Saturday and it wasn`t long before it seemed like she was still in high school and living at our house............in no time at all, she was on the computer and on the phone....the biggest difference was the beverage of choice....it seems she has switched from Coke to coffee.  We spent a day shopping around our area (notice that her basket is still empty - that changed over the next couple of hours!).....there were lots of sales and good deals....

and on Sunday she packed her stuff into the car.....

we headed back to Munchie`s house.  On Monday we dropped the boys off at daycare and headed to the mall....

........Mommy chatted up the staff........

.......and as you can see - her basket is full this time!  After a few hours of jaunting around the mall, we were both ready to go home - oops!  We had to scurry out - it was time to pick up the little guys!  Here I am toting my purchases....

....yes - there is a Build-A-Bear store there and - yes - Taffy got some new clothes - more on that later. Mommy jammed all our bags into the trunk....

.........we darted up the road so we could........

....unload all those bags again and put them away before we picked up the boys.  I had a wonderful evening playing with Munchie, but I was so busy that I didn`t get any pictures.  I can tell you this...Munchie is possessed of a lively imagination and `pretend` is his favourtie game...he can come up with the most unlikely scenario and make it into a story and a game...what a boy!  On Tuesday we decided to spoil Squeegie and made a stop at the Chip Truck....

....he adores chip truck chips!  Notice Squeegie`s outfit?  Munchie got Squeegie dressed on Tuesday morning - cute hey?  After we had finished our chips Squeegie tried on the new hat that Gramma had bought for Munchie.....

....if it looks this cute on Squeegie, jut imagine how cute it looks on Munchie!  We got the hat off of Squeegie, got him back into his blue jeans and then we took a drive for a visit to Mommy`s new office and once again I forgot to take pictures - rats!  Hopefully I`ll get another chance.   It is lovely as I expected since her company is in the office design business.  She checked her e-mail, responded to a few of them and we were on our way again.  We were in a bit of a hurry on Tuesday too, since Poppa was coming down to pick me up, and we didn't want him to arrive at Munchie's house to find it empty.  We managed to pick up the little boys and get back to the house before he got there.  Poppa and I babysat on Tuesday evening, so Mommy and Daddy could have a night out.  We had a good time and the little boys settled down for the night easily for us.  By all reports, Mommy and Daddy enjoyed their night on the town, and were home much earlier than we had anticipated.  We stayed overnight and the little boys made sure Poppa was awake in the morning....

....and later they all worked together to flatten the air mattress.....

.......even Mommy helped!  Soon it was done and packed away so Poppa & I packed my goodies and our overnight bags into the car and we headed north to home.  Such a good time!
