Where are we now? (Chapter Two)

When we left Fort Myers we travelled northward, considered several places to stop and decided finally on Treasure Island.  We really enjoyed our stay there last year and we both wanted to visit again.  So off we went.  As usual we tried the beach

and as was the norm since we arrived in the Sunshine state it was cold out there in the wind off the water.  We walked up the street and stopped in at an older motel called Page Terrace.  The rates were reasonable and we could watch the sunset from the balcony just outside our door.

When we checked out the room, we discovered that Poppa could make himself a cup of tea there - this is fairly common in hotel rooms on Treasure Island - I suspect that like us, folks like to stay there a while once they discover it.

And, as usual, the bears settled in quite comfortably and watched TV while Poppa and I strolled up the street and found a pizza place that was not one of the chain brands.  We ordered a sub and a piece of cheesecake and took it back to our room to eat.  It was very good and we noted the name of that little place for subsequent visits.

After eating, we settled in for the night in anticipation of our arrival in the area of "our" villa the next day.
