A Flurry of Activity

Oh my goodness! So many activities going on around Munchkin's house! You're not gonna believe what that little guy is up to. Here is a picture of the test run of the Jolly Jumper! Yes - at three months of age, our Munchkin is driving his own jumper. On close inspection, I'm not sure that the little legs actually reach the floor, but he looks to be enjoying one of those little pink things while pondering his current position.
Squeegie was just as surprised as we were to catch Taffy toddling across the parlour. I thought he was going to fall right off the chair, but he managed to stay there.
The weather was overcast and rainy today - and there wasn't much to do, so we decided to take a run to the grocery store to get some fresh salad ingredients. This time we decided to check out the Winn-Dixie since it is right next door to the Post Office where we wanted to stop anyway. We now have so many groceries in this villa that I think we can eat until it's time to go home without buying another thing! We've just gotta stop doing this shopping thing - because when we were done at Winn-Dixie Poppa decided he wanted to go to Lowe's which happens to be right next door to Wal-Mart. So he drops me at Wal-Mart and he goes to Lowe's. At Wal-Mart I discover they have put out a whole new bunk full of one-sies.............so Taffy got three more, and Squeegie got a pair of sweat pants.........Lordee..........they've both spent more than the allowances they had saved now! The sun better come out tomorrow and keep us away from the stores!
Now, meanwhile back at Munchkin's house, he decided that since he enjoyed the Jolly Jumper so much (or at least chewing his little fist while he hung there), that he should check out the Exersaucer as well. I felt quite proud of the little gaffer when I saw him standing in this ingenious device created for the pleasure of little people! Just look at him....what an amazing baby...I'm sure he must be the most amazing baby ever........oh wait...........is that what every grandparent says about their special grandchild? Hee!
