Home Once Again!

Here is Nanna at home again after a short visit to Munchie's house this time.  While I was home last weekend, Poppa made supper on the barbeque to keep the heat out of the house.  The air conditioner was running, but it was soooo hot that he thought it would be wise to generate as little heat as possible inside.  He put the frying pan on the side burner to brown some hamburger for gloop!

As you can see, Squeegie kept a watchful eye on the proceedings to make sure his supper turned out yummy!  Meanwhile, Taffy used the time to read her book while she sat on the patio swing in the shade - enjoying the nice summer weather.

It was so hot that our fridge gave up the ghost......well we're going to blame the hot weather, but actually a part was not functioning correctly - which caused the fridge to heat up instead of cool down - and Poppa couldn't get a replacement part - even though the fridge was only six years old!  So I picked the fridge I liked the best - bottom freezer!

So far - I love it!  It is so nice to open the door and have the everyday stuff at normal height.  No more bending to get the vegetables - or the milk for that matter!  The freezer opens like a drawer and it is so easy to find what I am looking for!  Love it!
